Tilea's Worries

Chapter 69

“Don’t underestimate us! We’re the fearsome Dark Butcher Gang!”

“Yeah! Whatever trick you pulled, don’t think you can make fools of us and get away with it!”

“You must have used a powerful magic item. We’ll uncover your secret and kill you!”

Andy and his gang showed no sign of dropping their arrogant attitudes. They continued to steal furniture and wreak havoc without a hint of remorse. These kids were truly despicable.

“You know, you might be called the Dark Wolves or whatever, but if you think that attitude is acceptable anywhere, you’re dead wrong.”

“Foolish woman! We are the Dark Butcher Gang, A-rank bounty targets!”

“Phew~ You really should stop telling such ridiculous lies. It’s unbecoming, even for kids.”

“They aren’t lies! We destroyed the Knights of the Kingdom of Ghana! We brought down the political organization Giorjoa! We did it all!”

“That’s right. We’ve been wanted in several countries, but no one can catch us. We are feared as the Unrestrained Ones!”

These kids were delusional. The more they talked, the more obvious it became that they were just spoiled brats. It was clear that their caregivers had a tough time managing their mischief.

Fine. If they claim to be unrestrained, I’ll make sure they feel the restraints.

“Have you heard the saying, ‘A liar is worse than a thief’? If you keep telling such outrageous lies, you’ll end up as real criminals. Well, I guess you already are since you’re stealing. If you don’t want to end up in jail, you should start reflecting on your actions.”

“Don’t treat us like children!”

Andy flew into a rage and lunged at me.

This kid was Andy, right?

Andy came at me with a ferocious expression, throwing punches and kicks.

Punches, kicks...and a knife!? This brat actually had a weapon!

Spoiled rich kids were the worst. He probably stabbed someone for fun at some point. It was good that I could intervene before it got that far.

I dodged Andy’s flurry of attacks and snatched the knife from his hand with ease.

Andy’s jaw dropped in shock at the sight of his knife disappearing.

“Andy, carrying a weapon like this is really bad. I’ll keep this safe for you.”

“My prized Bensur Knife...”

“What? Is it that important to you? Well, too bad. I’m not giving it back. You’re too young to use something like this. How about I give you a pair of child-safe scissors instead?”

“Damn it! Don’t underestimate me!”

Andy desperately kept attacking.

He punched, kicked, and even jumped into a spinning kick. He then amplified his magic to create magic swords, one in each hand, and charged at me with a dual-wielding stance.

Hmph, he had the form down, at least.

I let Andy slash at me as much as he wanted.

From diagonal slashes to horizontal swings, none of his attacks had any effect. He simply didn’t have enough power.

Eventually, Andy dropped to his knees, exhausted. He was sweating profusely and breathing heavily.

“Huff, huff, huff...my hands...”

“Are you okay? Did you sprain your wrist? You know, kids your age shouldn’t push themselves too hard. Your bones are still growing.”

“Huff, huff...damn it, I’ve never been so humiliated...”

“Yes, this is how people grow. Make sure you reflect on your actions.”

I offered him some kindly advice as someone older and more experienced.

However, Andy and his friends didn’t seem to lose their hostility. If anything, their determination burned even fiercer. They clearly weren’t used to being scolded. Their parents must have spoiled them a lot, leading to this intense defiance.

Hmph. I didn’t want to resort to this, but it seemed like words wouldn’t be enough. Like with Timu, they needed a proper punishment.

It was time for a spanking.

I approached the brats, ready to deliver some discipline. They started screaming, calling me a monster and claiming I had ten thousand magic power.

Heh, you’re not getting away.

It seemed like no one had ever properly scolded them before. Well, then, I’ll have to be their parent. I’ll be their mom and set them straight.

---

Casey tried to keep a calm exterior, but inside, her mind was in turmoil.

“Damn it, here she comes!”

“What trick did she use? How can she have so little magic power but be this strong?”

Andy and the others were also in a panic.

Their past experiences weren’t helping them now. Maybe it was time to abandon preconceived notions. Casey decided to shift her thinking.

“Calm down, everyone. The Dark God is probably amplifying her magic power in an instant. By a ridiculous amount.”

“How much are we talking about?”

“Considering her defense...at least a hundred thousand.”

“A hundred thousand!? No way.”

“Yes, we might need to prioritize retreating.”

“Sorry to interrupt your discussion, but you’re not getting away. You’re going to get the punishment you deserve.”

The Dark God’s challenge meant that a fight was unavoidable. They couldn’t escape without at least landing a blow or two to create an opening.

“Everyone, unleash your power. Use all your magic. Hit the Dark God with everything you’ve got.”

“Understood.”

Sandra took advantage of her speed and lunged at the Dark God.

Her fast-paced assault was meant to keep the enemy from attacking. It was Sandra’s specialty.

But just as Sandra’s fist was about to connect, the Dark God moved like a magical panther, catching Sandra with ease. It was like watching an adult grab a misbehaving child.

Such agility and speed! This was beyond anything they had ever seen.

The Dark God held the struggling Sandra firmly and then whipped her arm like a lash, striking Sandra’s rear.

“Ouch...OWWWW! It hurts! It hurts so much!”

Sandra rolled on the ground, screaming in pain.

Impossible!

Sandra, who had withstood the tortures of special forces, was now crying and writhing in agony. How could this be?

Of course! The Dark God had targeted the untrainable skin. Even the strongest bodies couldn’t withstand that.

What a terrifying, assassin-defeating technique...

“Want another round?”

The Dark God raised her hand again, threatening a follow-up strike. Sandra clung to her feet, begging for mercy like a child asking for forgiveness.

“This can’t be happening. Sandra has endured all sorts of torture!”

“Andy, humans naturally feel pain. Our training just buried it deep inside. The Dark God brought it back in one strike.”

“Such power...”

“Everyone, block out the pain. She’ll break our spirits in no time.”

Sandra was useless now. She had lost her edge.

“Ah, Sandra started crying. Sorry about that. It was just a spanking. Maybe physical punishment is too harsh, but I did hold back since you’re kids.”

The Dark God referred to the devastating technique as a mere spanking. What would her real combat moves be like?

Cold sweat dripped down Casey’s face. She had never faced such a powerful opponent before.

“We can’t win this.”

“Finally, you understand? My magic power is fifty-three thousand. Yours is just too small. Surrender now.”

Fifty-three thousand! Far beyond their expectations. Andy and the others were speechless, grappling with despair. But even in the face of such overwhelming odds, they couldn’t give up.

They had to find a way out.

“Sigh, I see you’re not ready to give up. Fine. Come at me until you’re satisfied. But remember, I’m an adult. I won’t use my full power. I’ll fight you with just my right hand—no, my left hand. Actually, I’ll use only my tongue.”

Her tongue!

The Dark God stuck out her tongue and taunted them with a confident smile.

She’s mocking us.

If she wants to underestimate us that much, we’ll show her. I’ll use our clan’s secret technique.

An unhandled error has occurred.
