Using Gacha to Increase My Companions and to Create the Strongest Girls' Army Corps

I was drinking and about to pass out in Sisya’s room, but the gacha notification woke me up instantly. I immediately left her room and went to wake up Noru and the others. Although I had completely sobered up, I had Sisya use her healing magic on me just in case. I also asked her to eliminate the smell of alcohol. If Noru and the others found out we were drinking alone, they might say something.

I went to wake up Noru and Estel, leaving the task of waking up Runa to Sisya. Noru was still playing with Mofuto in the pet house, and Estel, who was sleeping, woke up easily since her sleep was light. Sisya successfully woke Runa up too, and despite the late hour, we all gathered in the living room.

"It's quite annoying that the gacha notification comes at this time," Noru grumbled.

"Yawn... That's true. But since we usually wait until this time to roll the gacha, it's still okay," Estel said.

"Sorry for waking you all up from your sleep," I apologized.

"... Sleepy," Runa muttered.

"Runa-san, was it really necessary to wake you up?" Sisya asked.

"No problem. If there's a gacha, it can't be helped. In fact, I need to be woken up for this," Runa replied.

We could have waited until morning to roll the gacha, but depending on the results, we might need to take action. In the worst-case scenario, we might use up all our magic stones and need to go hunting again. So, I wanted to draw the gacha as soon as possible. Besides, I couldn't wait until morning!

"That's the one where we got Sisya's summoning stone, right?" Estel confirmed.

"Was I picked up in that gacha? Hehe, of course I was!" Sisya said, placing her hands on her hips and grinning widely. She seemed really happy to have been a featured unit.

"It's different from the gacha I was expecting, but is it still okay?" Noru asked, concerned.

"Well, it's a bit tricky, but let's see what's featured in this pickup," I said, switching the smartphone screen to the gacha page.

"Five URs featured in the pickup... It seems tough to target the units," Sisya observed.

The previous pickup also featured four items, but now it's five. And this time, even SSRs are featured. The Adamant series includes the armor I'm using... though I recently converted the shield into points. Why did it have to come now? If I had known, I wouldn't have converted it... It's frustrating!

It's surprising to see UR versions of the Grimoire and Nibelung items. I wonder if there's some special effect when all of them are collected. Since the SSR versions are also featured, it would be great to get the remaining pieces as well.

"Heiha, are you going to roll?" Runa asked.

"Of course! What’s the point of being Heiha if I don’t roll the gacha?" I declared.

"I don't quite understand, but I get the gist," Runa replied.

"So, we're rolling the gacha after all..." Noru sighed.

I must have seemed indecisive because I was deep in thought. Five URs in the pickup is a lot, but with two units in the mix, the chances of getting at least one of their summoning stones should be decent if I pull two URs. This time, unlike the previous pickup, both 11-draws and single pulls are included. Having more draws provides some reassurance.

"Who are you aiming for, Onii-san?" Estel asked.

"Either one would be great, but if I had to choose, I'd go for Chloe," I replied.

"The one who enhances abilities, right?" Noru clarified.

"Yes. In GC, she greatly increased the stats of all units and reduced skill cooldowns. Plus, she had decent combat abilities herself."

"If Chloe joins us, will it help reduce my muscle pain after using my skills?" Noru wondered.

"There's a possibility," I confirmed.

Although I didn’t have Chloe, I knew that as a UR buff unit in GC, she had incredible enhancement effects. With Noru also having buff abilities, their combined effect would make us unstoppable. However, Chloe's character is said to be quite arrogant, which could cause some drama if she joins.

Heidi, on the other hand, is a magic warrior. Imagine Noru with magic abilities. She's certainly strong as a UR, but compared to Chloe...

"So, what's the plan for drawing? How many times are we rolling?" Sisya asked.

"Hmm... I'd like to keep rolling until either Chloe or Heidi appears. We can stop once we get a unit," I suggested.

"Heiha is surprisingly modest in his demands," Runa noted.

"Haha, I know when to stop! ...Huh? Why are you all looking at me like that?"

"No reason..." they all muttered.

I'm not someone who recklessly draws gacha. Just because I have a lot of magic stones doesn’t mean I’ll use them all at once. The main goal this time is to strengthen our team, and I'll consider stopping if we get a unit that's not part of the pickup. Runa giving me a skeptical look doesn’t matter; I know my limits.

Now, I needed to decide how many pulls to make. I wouldn’t use all 2,100 stones. Blowing everything on this pickup is too risky. If I aim solely for Chloe, I might run out of stones and still not get her. I wanted to save some for future box gachas, so I decided to use about 1,000 stones for now. Let’s see... Three times each for all six of us should be just right. That’s 18 eleven-draws, using 900 stones.

"Alright, let’s each do three eleven-draws," I declared.

"It's nice to have enough magic stones for everyone to draw the same amount," Noru said.

Everyone had worked hard hunting every day and Runa helped at night. Deus and Grin-san also sent us magic stones. We should thank them properly.

After discussing the order, it was decided that Sisya would go first.

Sisya being the first to draw was almost a tradition now.

She tapped her phone screen with a flourish, starting the eleven-draw gacha. The screen showed a treasure chest, which opened to reveal... silver.

"Maybe you should calm down first," Runa suggested, patting her on the shoulder.

The first draw was a bust, showing a screen full of low-tier items. Sisya looked a bit dejected but quickly shook it off.

The next two draws resulted in gold and white chests.

It was good to know the pickup was effective. And even if there were duplicates, it was useful for enhancing gear. The Grimoire and Nibelung items might have some hidden potential when collected.

Next up was Runa.

"Alright, this time I'll get a proper UR," Runa declared.

"Oh, Runa is motivated," Noru noted.

"Do your best!" Sisya encouraged.

"Leave it to me," Runa said confidently.

Runa’s usual listlessness was gone, replaced with a determined glint in her eye. Perhaps she would draw another UR, following Noru and Mofuto’s example

After finishing her draws, Runa returned to her usual lifeless state. She placed her phone on the table and stood up, ready to leave, but Sisya hugged her from behind, making her stay. Runa pouted but eventually settled on Sisya’s lap, being petted into submission.

Next, it was Noru’s turn.

"This time, it's early, so I can draw without any pressure," Noru declared.

"What are you talking about? Noru, I believe in you. You will definitely draw a UR," I said.

"Stop putting pressure on me! Why do you do this?" Noru protested.

"Haha, sorry, just joking," I replied.

Noru often went last and faced everyone's expectations, but it was because we trusted her luck with gacha. She had a knack for drawing good items.

"Alright, here I go!" Noru announced, tapping the eleven-draw button.

The screen showed a treasure chest, which opened to reveal... white.

Noru’s single pulls yielded three SSRs. Although no URs appeared, her luck was undeniable. After calming down, it was Estel’s turn.

"Next, it's my turn," Estel said.

"Are you aiming for Chloe or the Grimoire?" I asked.

"Both, but I really want the Grimoire. It's the last one I need," Estel replied.

This pickup included a UR Grimoire, and Estel needed it to complete her set. I was also curious to see what would happen if we collected them all.

Estel calmly tapped the eleven-draw button. The screen showed a treasure chest, which opened to reveal... silver and gold.

Estel had never drawn a UR before, so this was a big moment. She tapped the screen to reveal the contents.

"It's not fair if you don’t get to draw, Onii-san. Let's continue for a bit more," Estel suggested.

"Thank you!" I exclaimed, grateful.

Thanks to Estel's intervention, I was allowed to draw three times as well. I wasn’t going to let this opportunity go to waste.

"Alright, now it's the real star's turn," I said confidently.

"You always seem so confident with gacha," Noru noted.

"That’s what makes Onii-san special," Estel added, smiling.

Finally, it was my turn to draw. I tapped the eleven-draw button with determination. The screen showed a treasure chest, which opened to reveal... silver and gold.

My heart was racing. I needed to calm down. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and visualized pulling a UR. I tapped the screen for the final draw. The result was... silver.

Damn it...! I couldn’t believe I ended on such a low note. But at least we got Freesia, and I got to roll the gacha. That’s good enough for now, I guess.
